Student Directories : The Student Directories for the 22-23 school year are now available. To view the directory for your building, please log into your Campus Parent Portal Account and click the link posted under the Message Center Announcements. The directories are accurate up to mid-September of this year. As a reminder, the information contained in these documents should be used expressly for the intent of being able to contact other guardians relative to PTA or school activities. This information should not be used for personal or commercial endeavors by any family or staff member. The information in these documents should not be distributed or shared with third parties.
We are Riverdale Heights Night: Come and join us on October 11th, from 5:00-7:00pm, for an evening full of culture, music, food, fun, and great company at our 3rd Annual ‘We are Riverdale Heights' Night. Riverdale Heights is an AMAZING community and we believe every child, parent, family member, and community member is important to our success, because YOU MATTER! PVHS Preschool: We have some openings in our Pleasant Valley High School Preschool. As part of our Child Development classes, PVHS students operate a preschool that is supervised by Mrs. Debbie Claussen. PVHS Preschool enrolls twelve 3 to 5-year-olds, and meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from September - May. This year, preschool meets from 9:00 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. High school students enrolled in Child Development do the actual planning, observing, and teaching of the preschool children in a variety of activities. The high school students develop learning experiences for the children in areas of art, math, science, music, storytelling, food, and safety. Orchestra Accompanist: We need your help. The Orchestra Program is looking for an Elementary Orchestra Accompanist. The Orchestra Accompanist's responsibilities include accompanying 5th and 6th Grade Orchestra classes that meet from 7:30-8:20 AM Monday through Thursday at Pleasant Valley Junior High School. These ensembles give up to three concerts per year. Accompanying for 4th Grade Orchestra classes will be scheduled as needed in the preparation of their concerts. Popsicles on the Playground and first PTA meeting: Plan to attend Popsicles on the Playground on September 20th at 5:30 and bring your kiddos for a free popsicle. Then stay for the PTA meeting in the school library at 6:30PM. Child care will be available during the meeting. “Fun in the Sun" Walk-A-Thon is coming up on Friday, September 23rd. This is the PTA's biggest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds go right back to our school. Students collect donations and earn prizes! Donations are due online or to the main office by Wednesday, September 28th. YOU can help us reach our goal of $15,000! This year we are raising money to give back to the teachers for classroom supplies, Phase 2 of the Library Remodel as well as art and a sensory wall for the hallways.
Spirit Week: Students can bring in $1 per day or $5 for the week for fun dress up days!

Spartan Band Mattress Fundraiser! You may have seen the signs; yes this is a real thing! If you or someone you know is looking to replace a bed in your home, now is the time. We invite you to attend the 4th Annual PV Band Mattress Fundraiser on Saturday, September 24, from 10am - 5pm in the HS Cafeteria. Last year's sale was a huge success and all proceeds support the PVHS Band students! We will have 30+ different styles of brand name mattresses on display for you to try out.
