Does anyone in grades 3rd-6th like to spell? December 5th will be the Spelling Bee for Riverdale Heights Elementary. It will be held right after school in the cafeteria. If interested, please fill out the attached form and return it to the main office or Mrs. Ahnquist.
PTA wants to wish a happy Thanksgiving holiday to our Riverdale community. We hope you are able to relax with your families for a few days! PTA is thankful for the amazing continued support and participation we see within our school family and so very thankful for our amazing staff and teachers!
Couple of reminders:
· The lost and found at school is overflowing with items. Please check for missing items at your house like gloves, hats, sweatshirts and water bottles. If you are missing anything its likely there!
· Rock and Roll Bingo is TONIGHT at school 6-8pm. This is not a drop off event and we cannot have kids in the gym. Hope to see you there!
· If you are shopping for gifts over the next few weeks, don't forget your teacher's favorite things form sent from room parents. We will also have the giving tree up at school in the next few days.
· If you have gently used Halloween costumes, Mr. Chiles will take donations. The office will also accept gently used winter gear donations.
Nothing Bundt Cakes Winter Sale: These are available to you for a limited time as a Riverdale Heights PTA Fundraiser. ORDER ARE DUE by Monday, November 27th at NOON. Pick Up of Bundt Cakes will be on Thursday, December 14th from 3:30-5:30pm at Riverdale Heights. *Orders must be picked up on December 14th and cannot be held at the school. The Spartan Store will be open on Saturday, December 2nd from 9:00-1:00 for all your holiday shopping needs! Spartan gear makes great gifts. International Night at PVHS: Attention parents, students and teachers! On Thursday, November 30th, from 6 to 8 thirty PM in the High School cafeteria, the PVHS Model United Nations club will be hosting our 2nd annual International Night! Join us for a celebration of nations and cultures from all over the world. There will be tons of food, games, performances, and fun stands for all ages. Adult entrance tickets are $5, and child tickets are $3, with all of the proceeds going to PVMUN. We hope to see you there!
PV Wrestling Webstore: Order your High School Wrestling apparel HERE! The store closes November 19th at midnight.
Join the PV Platinum Dance Team for a kid's clinic on December 3rd in the high school gym from 1-4:30 pm. This is a one day only clinic where dancers will learn a short routine that they will perform that same day. They will also get to practice skills and have fun with our current team. This is open to boys and girls K-8. We will be performing the routines we learn that day at 4:30pm - please feel free to come watch! After the performance, Platinum dancers will be signing autographs on our 2023-2024 posters which are for sale on our registration sign-up for $5. PVP blue glasses and bows will be available that day for $5. Dancer and 2 parent admission fees are included in the camp fee of $30. Other spectators will pay by donation to enter. Please dress your dancer in black leggings and they will be given their clinic shirts to wear for the performance. Register on Infinite Campus.
