Dear Riverdale Heights Families,
Elementary Conferences: We are excited to share your student's progress with you! Elementary Conferences will be held Tuesday, November 1st - Friday, November 11th. Teachers have blocked availability over the course of those two weeks to meet with our families. November 3rd will serve as the district set night, with conferences being held from 3:30pm - 8:00pm. We would like to invite you to sign up for an onsite conference during that time. If that date is not possible for your family to come to the school, there will be availability at additional times. The registration link for all conferences will be sent via enews on October 14!
We Are Riverdale Heights Night is Back!!!! We are so excited to be having our 3rd annual We Are Riverdale Heights Night again! Mark your calendars to join us on October 11th, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, for an evening full of culture, music, food, fun, and great company!

Walk-a-Thon: The Riverdale Heights PTA is PROUD to share our 2022 Walk-a-Thon fundraising total amount (drum roll please...). We cannot thank our community enough for the generous support. We are so PROUD of our school, what we accomplished and most importantly how much FUN we had doing it! Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, participated in spirit days, volunteered and helped promote this incredible event! Trunk or Treat: Save the Date and RESERVE your parking spot for Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 28th. Set up your trunk from 5:30-6:30PM and then Riverdale Heights Trunk or Treating is from 6:30-8:00PM. This is a FREE event. Spots go LIVE on our website Friday, October 7th at 3:30PM. PTA Reflections: Do you enjoy art, music and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films and taking photos? Then join us and have fun unleashing your inner artist with PTA Reflections! This year’s theme, “Show Your Voice!” calls for your own unique interpretation through the arts. Click here for How to Enter, Official Rules and Entry Form. Reflections projects are due to your school on October 26th and 27th. A Reflections chairperson will be present to collect entries before school on October 26th and 27th.

Student Hunger Drive: Interested in donating to the Student Hunger Drive without having to shop for cans? Consider donating online using this link. PV has a goal of 100,000 lbs this year! Please consider donating to help fight hunger in our area.
PV Platinum Dance Team Clinic: Register for the PV Platinum Dance Team Clinic on the parent portal. Dancers will learn a short routine on October 9th from 1-4pm at the high school gym. They will perform their routine at the pregame of the varsity game festivities on October 14th. We can’t wait to dance with you soon! Baseball Jersey Sale: Are you interested in having your own game worn Pleasant Valley Baseball jersey? Come to the baseball complex front gate next Friday, October 14th from 530-630pm before the varsity football game to purchase your own jersey! Choir Gear: The online store is open now! All proceeds go to the Pleasant Valley Choir Boosters that support the choir programs in all schools districtwide.
Hour of Code: The PVHS Women in STEM club is proud to provide a free after school opportunity for all 3rd & 4th Grade students called “Hour of Code”. The Hour of Code is a brief introduction to computer science. Learn more and register for the October 19th event here.
