Back-to-School Center: Have questions about the 2021-22 start of the school year? Click here for all information, including next week’s Meet and Greet. COVID-19 Protocols: Pleasant Valley has updated its Family Return to Learn FAQ for the 2021-22 school year. Please read through this new site and direct any questions to your building principal or to pvweb@pleasval.org.

Free Lunch and Breakfast through December 2021: Federal funds will allow us to provide free breakfast and lunch to ALL STUDENTS through the end of 2021. A la carte items will still be charged at normal prices. You may make a deposit into your student's lunch account at any time by sending cash or check to their building. You can also add money via credit card to your student’s food service account online through RevTrak.

Immunization Requirements: As a reminder, all immunizations must be up to date by the start of school. Please see this link to check which immunizations are required. If you have questions, please call your school nurse.

PE Update: For the start of 2021-22, only 6th grade students will dress for PE.

Forest Grove Open House: We are thrilled to open our 6th elementary school for the 2021-22 school year! Join us for our Open House on Sunday, August 15 at 4:15pm! You'll be able to tour the school and see all the work our faculty and staff have done to be ready for our families!

Help PVHS Students with Work-Based Learning: PVHS offers opportunities for students to job shadow, as well as hear from employees in all sorts of fields for career exploration. If you’re interested in volunteering your time to help PVHS students learn more about your career, reach out to Career Center Coordinator Mary Johnson at johnsonmary@pleasval.org. Run with Carl: Join us on Monday, August 16 for a training run with Fleet Feet! We’ll meet at the Life Fitness Center at 6:00pm. All who participate will get a special discount promo code! Reserved seating for Friday night Lights - Football at Spartan Stadium/Century Club membership: Hey Spartan Nation, reserved seating for Friday night lights at Spartan Stadium and Century Club membership is available to any current or former families in the Pleasant Valley Community School District. If you have a student or students participating on multiple athletic teams, it would be a financial savings for you to be a Century Club member. PV Youth Basketball Night For 1st Grade Boys: If your son is interested in playing basketball, join us at TBK on August 16 and 26, 6:30-7:30pm at TBK. BRING YOUR OWN BASKETBALL. Cost is $10 at the door-need not be a TBK member. Pre-registration not required. Questions contact Chris Powers 563-570-0866.

Youth Girls Basketball, 3rd Grade: If your daughter is interested in playing basketball late Fall/Winter, contact Jen DeBuhr at 563-343-8268.

AAU 3rd-6th Boys Basketball Team: There will be an AAU basketball organizational meeting for all players and coaches interested in forming a PV youth boys basketball team in grades three through six. The meeting will take place on August 24, 2021 at 6:00 PM in the PVHS Library. This meeting will give information on how to reserve gym time, how to register for AAU, practice planning, and league/tournament information. Information about the upcoming PV basketball coaches clinic on Oct. 3rd will also be shared. There is NO guarantee that your son will be placed on a team. We need volunteer coaches to start up new teams and a minimum of 7-8 players. If you currently have a PV AAU team, you do NOT need to attend. However, please send an updated team roster and coaches information to hillmansteve@pleasval.org or ahlgrenbrett@pleasval.org as soon as possible.
