You will need to check your student’s teacher assignment in the parent portal before registering for a Meet and Greet time.

The highlight of this evening will be the Perseid Meteor Shower (one of the best showers of the year - Sky and Telescope article), but we will also have a bunch of telescopes set-up for your viewing. We will be able to see planets, star clusters, and nebulae. Bring your family, your friends, and everyone else. It is free and open to the public. Bring a bag chair, a blanket, and some bug spray. Feel free to bring your own telescope or binoculars, too. Remember not to use your cell phone or white light flashlights near the viewing party as it will ruin your night eyes. We will be behind PVJH near the track. You should park in front of the building (South side) and walk around the East side of the building towards the back parking lot. There will be signs to help guide you.
