Dear Riverdale Heights Families,
T2K and Preschool Registration: If you know of a family who is interested in either the PV preschool or T2K program, please share the following information with them. We are taking applications for screening now.
School Store Opening 2023: The Riverdale Heights School Store will be opening on Tuesday, January 24th! It will be open in the atrium on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15 - 8:25 in the morning. The school store sells items like pens, pencils, erasers, spiral notebooks, and folders. Our biggest seller is SMENCILs! You can get your very own SMENCIL for only $1.25. The School Store is organized and worked by 5th grade students. Profits are used to buy flowers for the Butterfly Garden (in the back of the school near the Art Room) and also to donate to Riverdale Heights’ student needs.
Junior Achievement: We are looking for several volunteers to teach JA classes in our elementary schools. If you are interested, please email stacy.voelliger@ja.org. No experience is needed.

Wall of Honor: The Wall of Honor Program was established in 1999 to recognize distinguished alumni who have graduated from Pleasant Valley High School. Nominees must have graduated 10 years or more prior to induction and must meet the following criteria:
Academic Success
Outstanding success in their career
Distinguished human service

Variety Show: Dust off your vocal chords, dancing shoes, magic tricks or any talent you would like to showcase at our Riverdale Heights Variety Show. The Pleasant Valley Choral Boosters is a parent-led organization that supports all facets of the Pleasant Valley Vocal Music Program. Our Mission is to enhance the program through financial assistance, volunteer support and enthusiastic audience participation. The Pleasant Valley Choral Boosters invite you to become a member and a patron. We need your financial help to support the students enrolled in the PV Choir Program from elementary school through senior year of high school. The PV Vocal Music Program supports hundreds of students in choirs throughout our district. International Night with PVHS Model UN: The PV Model UN is holding a special night on January 26th from 6:30-9:00pm in the PV Theater. You will be able to play games from different countries, eat delicious food, and see performances in the theater. People of all different ages will love International Night for its exciting and unique activities.
