Elementary Standards-Based Report Cards: This fall we are using a new standards-based report card. Click here for a helpful presentation. The new progress report will:

  • Provide a better and more accurate communication tool for families

  • Align to the district’s curriculum and expectations for learners

  • Focus on your child's strengths and successes

  • Communicate progress toward mastery of end-of year goals

Attendance Update in Infinite Campus - As new policies and procedures emerge during this school year, we want to make you aware of some changes you might see in how your student's attendance is coded in our Infinite Campus system. Click here to see how attendance will be recorded if your student must isolate or quarantine due to COVID-19.   

The Nurse’s Office Needs Your Help! Mrs. Schick is in need of Sizes 4 and 6 panties for little girls.  She could also use sizes 6 and 8 sweatpants for little boys.  Any help is much appreciated!    

Free Meals for All Students: All school breakfasts and lunches will be free through the end of the school year! Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

Meals Available for At-Home Learners: We will have meals available each week for 100% online and hybrid at-home days. You must fill out this form every week by Monday at 6:00am to register for the meals. Meals will be available for pick up every day from 10:30am-11:00am at PVHS in the bus drop off area. 

A/B Calendar through January 15: Please look at this calendar for our Hybrid learning days.  Note that Fridays may be different than you anticipated.

Halloween: We invite our students to wear their costumes all day either on October 29 or October 30!  Because of social distancing, we will not be having a parade or parties this year. 

  • Those wearing costumes need to wear a face covering.

  • Costumes may not include any kind of toy weapon (knives, swords, etc.).  

  • They should not depict violent acts or the results of violence through the use of fake blood, etc.  

  • Please be mindful that our school community encompasses children of all ages and costumes should not be frightening to others.  



PTA Reflections DUE October 28 & 29: Reflections projects are due to your school on October 28th, 29th and 30th. A Reflections chairperson will be present to collect entries before school on October 28th and 29th and after school on October 30th. Chipotle Fundraiser, SATURDAY! The Chipotle and PTA sponsored fundraiser will be Saturday, October 24th, between 5-9pm at the Elmore Avenue location. 33% of each order with our Riverdale Heights code (in store or online orders for pick up) go to the PTA library and playground projects.
